Steiger Lion 1000 Tractor Seeding Spring Wheat in Big Sky Country In this video I am out in the field near Shelby Montana with a Steiger Lion 1000 Tractor pulling a Case IH air seeder/hoe drill. This farm is seeding spring wheat into a field that was seeding to winter wheat but had a poor stand due to low moisture. The Steiger Lion 1000 tractor was only built in 1986 and was one of the last Green Steigers built before Steiger was acquired by Tenneco (Case IH). The Case IH 9180 tractor is pretty much a red version on this tractor. The Steiger Lion was rated at 375 horsepower and built in Fargo North Dakota. In the background of this video you can see the Rocky Mountains with snow on the tops and also in the next field over from this tractor is a Big Bud HN320 tractor with a Melroe chisel plow that will be in a future video. Planting Soybeans near Jeffersonville Ohio In this video I am out in the field with an Agco DT200 tractor pulling a Kinze 3600 planter. The planter is roughly 30 feet wide and has 23 row units on it at 15'' row spacing. Here in Ohio it is pretty common to plant soybeans in 15'' rows and corn on 30'' row spacing.

Eubanks Equipment Dealer Open House | Welch Oklahoma On Saturday April 13, 2024 I visited Eubanks Equipment in Welch Oklahoma for their dealer customer event. Come along and take a tour of this farm equipment dealership with me. Eubanks Equipment has two locations and sells Deutz Fahr Tractors, Vermeer Hay Equipment, Great Plains, Meyer, Deweze, Manitou, Bushwhacker, Bad Boy & Grasshopper. This area is mostly hat and cattle country but it was a little early in the season for haymaking. Hope to get back here during hay season for future videos.

They are tilling the ground using their Agco Allis 9690 tractor pulling a Great Plains 1700 Turbo Till tool then planting soybeans with their Deutz Allis 9170 tractor pulling aKinze model 3600 32 row (15'' spacing) planter. Also in the video is the families Allis Chalmers 200 tractor pulling a wagon hauling the soybeans seeds to fill the planter. The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse over Darke County Ohio In this video the Great American Eclipse of 2024 was going right through my home area and here is a short video of all of the action. In the video I do a few different time lapse videos of the eclipse from different angle using my NEW Insta 360 Camera. I know there will probably be several different Eclipse videos on YouTube but here is what we saw from my own backyard. Overall I felt the entire thing was just awesome. We had about 4 minutes of totality here. We live in a pretty rural area but when it got dark everything just got quiet and I even heard of some coyotes howling and roosters crowing. My NEW ALTOZ TRX766 Zero Turn Mower on Tracks | Machine Overview In this video I go to D&L Equipment in Kensett Iowa to pickup my NEW Altoz TRX766 Zero Turn Mower on Tracks. I have been looking for a zero turn mower to speed up the time it takes to mow my yard which is about 4.5 acres. I have a few slopes and was told the track mowers do really good on slopes and it was something a little different and looked heavy built. As I am posting this video I have only mowed my yard one time but really like everything about it. It definitely sped up my mowing time and did a nice job mowing. I felt turning on the ends it was very easy on the turf below and the machine rides and handles very nicely. Overall I think this is a great machine. #altoz #tracks #mower #lawncare #zeroturn

Farmhand Mike Euro Tour | Agritechnica | PFG America | Deutz Fahr In November 2023 I took a European Trip with several coworkers and some Deutz Fahr dealers. We left Atlanta and flew to Milan Italy. There we jumped on a tour bus and head for Triviglio Italy. We toured the Same Deutz Fahr Factory and Museum there, Loaded back on the Bus and toured a Farm Equipment Dealer and a Cattle Farm in Italy. We then worked our way through Austria doing a city tour of Innsbruck. We then traveled to Germany and toured the City of Stuttgart then traveled to Hanover. In Hanover we visited the 2023 Agritechnica Trade Show. After the show we had dinner and traveled to Berlin. The next morning we flew from Berlin to Paris France then Paris to Atlanta Georgia. In this video I share some video and photos of the trip from start to finish. I have been to Europe several time before but this is the first time doing it on a tour bus. We left on Saturday November 11 and returned on Saturday November 18. It was a wonderful trip and the only flaw was my luggage showed up 3 days later. We had a really good tour guide for the trip and definitely want to give a huge thanks the Power Farming Group, Deutz Fahr and all of the folks that were along for the ride.
